Robert Usher is the Official Photographer for The Tall Ships Races 2010 – Hartlepool.

The Hartlepool based photographer has has won many awards during his 30-year career, including best photograph in the Pictorial/Illustrative category at last year’s Annual British Institution of Professional Photography Awards. Robert has also been awarded North East photographer of the year for the past two years running. 

“It’s fantastic to be part of this once in a lifetime experience. I am proud to be part of a project in which my pictures will form a lasting legacy for the town.It will be a photographer’s dream. Events like this happen rarely and I hope to be able to capture all the excitement and spectacle as a permanent record for Hartlepool.” – Robert Usher.
