Hutchinson volunteers to host car show to support Kansas Honor Flights

There will be a car show on June 25 at Midway Motors, 1200 E. 30th, in Hutchinson to support Kansas Honor Flights.

Hutchinson Volunteers for Kansas Honor Flight is hosting its 3rd Once-a-year Car Present at Midway Motors, 1200 E. 30th Ave., in Hutchinson on June 25.

The fundraiser will enable ship WWII, Korea and Vietnam-era veterans on a cost-free three-day trip to Washington, D.C., to pay a visit to memorials and then obtain a hero’s welcome house, mentioned organizer Steve Bowman.

In addition to the automobile present, the occasion will provide hamburgers and very hot canines and a 50/50 raffle.

“The journey price tag is roughly $900 for each veteran, and we have approximately 600 Kansas Veterans waiting to go on this as soon as in a life time vacation,” Bowman said.
