A rental car “exploded as if it contained ammunition” near a Texas airport following a person established it on fire, in accordance to community stories.
Authorities say a 35-12 months-previous gentleman established the vehicle on fire at a gas station in close proximity to the San Antonio Worldwide Airport before driving toward the terminals around the weekend, KENS noted.
As the automobile became immersed in flames, officials say the suspect escaped and ran away, according to WOAI.
The vehicle then exploded like it was complete of ammo, law enforcement reported, according to the San Antonio Categorical-Information.
Law enforcement and firefighters were being called to the explosion in the 9000 block of Airport Boulevard at about 10 p.m. Saturday, June 11, KSAT described. No person was observed within the motor vehicle, and no 1 described any accidents.
